Design of gas supply networks

Design of the internal gas supply system is carried out in accordance with DNaOP 0.00-1.20-98 "Gas Supply System Safety Rules of Ukraine," "Rules for the Supply and Use of Natural Gas in the National State of Ukraine," DBN B.2.5-41:2009 "Gas Pipelines with Polyethylene Pipes," as well as the equipment manufacturer's technology, taking into account the customer's requirements, as specified in the design specifications. The internal gas supply system design includes:

• Report (brief description of the system, proposed equipment);
• Hydraulic calculation;
• Floor plans with gas pipelines, placement and binding of gas supply elements during design (indicating the brand of equipment and dimensions);
• Selection and placement of gas supply system;
• Axonometric diagram of the system;
• Recommended scheme for connecting (piping);
• Separate schemes of knots;
• Specification of equipment and materials;

The internal gas supply system design is usually completed in conjunction with the boiler house design, heating system design, water supply and sewerage design. During the design process for internal utility systems, specialists from the water supply and sewerage, heating and ventilation, electrical power supply, and low-current networks departments approve the intersections and submit the final versions of their sections to the construction and installation companies.

Required technical data for designing internal gas supply systems:

• Locations of gas supply devices (boiler, rooftop, gas stove radiant heaters); Desired locations for gas supply risers;
• Design of external gas supply utility networks;

Design of external gas supply

Design of external gas supply utility networks during the construction of a new residential building (house), industrial facility, or administrative building is usually completed in conjunction with a boiler room design, heating system design, water supply and sewerage design, and heating network design. To connect to the gas supply network, it is necessary to obtain technical specifications from the gas supply company. We offer a turnkey technical specifications service. The cost varies for each project. For example, obtaining technical specifications for a private home up to 200 sq. m. costs UAH 11,500.00 (excluding official fees for issuing technical specifications). For other gas supply facilities, the price is calculated individually. You can obtain technical specifications yourself if you have the documents shown. Below.

Documents required for obtaining technical specifications:

• letter addressed to the director of the gas supplying organization (for Kyiv – PJSC Kyivgaz);
• questionnaire (completed by the design organization); for individuals, the Regional Gas Office usually provides on-site assistance;
• lease agreement for the premises;
• 1:2000 scale plan showing the building to be connected to the gas supply network;
• completed form with the payer's details.

After receiving the technical specifications, we can calculate the cost of the design work, taking into account topographic, geodetic, and geological surveys, as well as approval from all relevant authorities.
